Healthy children begin with healthy mothers, and all pregnant women receiving Medicaid are eligible for PRS–Pregnancy Related Services.  Like the Healthchek staff, PRS workers remind, refer, encourage, and arrange prenatal care.  Transportation is likewise available.  These women are provided follow-up services for one year after their child's birth.
